Apple Cider Syrup

Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Sugar
  • 2 Tablespoons Cornstarch
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Nutmeg
  • 2 Cups Apple Cider
  • 2 Tablespoons Lemon Juice
  • 1/4 Cup Butter

Instructions

  • In a medium saucepan, mix together sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon and nutmeg. Stir in apple cider and lemon juice.
  • Bring to a boil, stirring constantly until thickened, about 1 minute. Remove from heat and stir in butter.
  • Serve warm or cold. Makes 2 3/4 cups.
