Apple Cider Syrup
Ingredients
- 1 Cup Sugar
- 2 Tablespoons Cornstarch
- 1/4 Teaspoon Cinnamon
- 1/4 Teaspoon Nutmeg
- 2 Cups Apple Cider
- 2 Tablespoons Lemon Juice
- 1/4 Cup Butter
Instructions
- In a medium saucepan, mix together sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon and nutmeg. Stir in apple cider and lemon juice.
- Bring to a boil, stirring constantly until thickened, about 1 minute. Remove from heat and stir in butter.
- Serve warm or cold. Makes 2 3/4 cups.
