Seafood Salad

“Occasionally, I would buy a little bit of seafood salad from the deli section at The Nugget as a special treat. It is so expensive though. This is much more tasty and cost effective.” – April Ferre

Seafood Salad

Ingredients

  • 8 Ounces Salad Shrimp
  • 8 Ounces Imitation Crab Meat Flaked
  • 1/4 Cup Celery Diced Small
  • 1/2 Red Bell Pepper Diced Small
  • 1/4 Cup Red Onion Chopped
  • 2 Green Onions Sliced
  • 1/2 Cup Mayonnaise
  • 1 Teaspoon Dijon Mustard
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Old Bay Seasoning
  • 1 Tablespoon Lemon Juice
  • 2 Tablespoons Fresh Dill Chopped

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, combine shrimp, crab, celery, onions, and bell pepper.
  • In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, mustard, Old Bay Seasoning, lemon juice and dill. Mix well to combine. Taste and add additional salt and pepper, if necessary.
  • Toss salad with dressing until coated.
  • Serve over salad greens, on a croissant as a sandwich or fill puff pastries for a fun brunch item.
