“In honor of Miss O’Hara, this sauce is bright scarlet and a piquant combination of the sweet and spicy. It wouldn’t pass for genuine Georgia barbecue, but reality has never been Hollywood’s strong suit (or my own).” (Magazine Clipping)
“An interesting barbecue sauce a little fruity and sweet and a little spicy too. I prefer things a little less spicy, so I use 2 Teaspoons of Tabasco instead of of 2 Tablespoons. This recipe makes a lot of sauce, but can easily be halved.” – April Ferre
