Pasta Alfredo with Ham & Peas
Ingredients
- 8 Ounces Pasta Such as Rotini, Penne or Bow Tie
- 1 Cup Ham Diced
- 1 Cup Peas Cooked
- 2 Tablespoons Butter
- 2 Tablespoons Flour
- 1 1/2 Cup Heavy Cream
- 1/2 Cup Parmesan Cheese Grated
- 1/4 Teaspoon Salt
- 1/4 Teaspoon Garlic Powder
- 1/8 Teaspoon Pepper
Instructions
- Cook pasta in salted water. Drain.
- Combine pasta, ham and peas in a large bowl.
- While pasta is cooking, melt butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat until bubbly. Add flour and cook, stirring continuously, for 2 to 3 minutes.
- Add heavy cream in a steady stream while whisking until sauce is smooth. Bring sauce to a simmer and then add Parmesan cheese. Stir until melted.
- Add salt, garlic powder and pepper. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.
- Pour sauce over pasta and serve immediately.
