Jasmine Rice with Lemongrass & Ginger
Ingredients
- 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
- 2 Tablespoons Lemongrass Finely Minced
- 1 Tablespoon Ginger Finely Minced
- 1 Cup Jasmine Rice Rinsed & Well Drained
- 1 1/2 Cup Water
- 1/2 Teaspoon Salt
- Green Onions Sliced, Optional
Instructions
- In a medium sauce pan over medium heat, sauté lemongrass and ginger for 1 minute.
- Add rice and stir to coat; cook for a minute or two more.
- Add water and salt and bring to a boil. Cover and reduce heat to low.
- Cook for 15 minutes until all the liquid is absorbed and rice is tender. Remove from heat and fluff rice with a fork.
- Serve topped with sliced green onions.
