Italian Sun-Dried Tomato Shmear
Ingredients
- 8- Ounces Cream Cheese Softened
- 2 Tablespoons Milk
- 2 Tablespoons Sun-Dried Tomatoes in Oil Minced
- 1 Tablespoon Fresh Basil Minced
- 1 Tablespoon Fresh Chives Minced
- 1 Tablespoon Dried Minced Onion
- 1/2 Tablespoon Lemon Juice
- 1/2 Teaspoon Garlic Powder
- 1/4 Teaspoon Salt
- 1/8 Teaspoon Pepper
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients and beat well until smooth.
- Refrigerate overnight to rehydrate the dried onion and allow the flavors to blend.
- Use as a shmear on bagels or an Italian-style sandwich, spread on crackers (Triscuits recommended) or use as a dip for vegetables.
