
“I wanted to replicate the Tacos al Pastor that I love from Taqueria Davis. They have what they call guacamole on their crispy tacos, but I feel like it is more sauce-like than what I normally think of when I make guacamole. This comes very close to what I was looking for. It’s great on tacos of course, but it goes with pretty much any Mexican dish. This would also go well on fish.” – April Ferre
Avocado Crema
Ingredients
- 1 Avocado Diced
- 1/4 Cup Sour Cream or Mexican Crema
- 1 Tablespoon Fresh Cilantro Chopped
- 1 Clove Garlic Roughly Chopped
- 1 Tablespoon Fresh Lime Juice
- 1/8 Teaspoon Salt
- 1/8 Teaspoon Pepper
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a small food processor and blend until smooth. Serve as desired.
- Recipe may be scaled up as needed, but use within 4 days for best flavor.
