Fancy Apple-Hazelnut Rolls
Ingredients
- Basic White Bread or Roll Dough
- Butter Melted
- Cinnamon-Sugar Mixture
- Apple Chopped
- Hazelnuts Toasted & Chopped
- Powdered Sugar Glaze
- Sliced Almonds
Instructions
- Prepare bread dough through its first rise. Punch down dough. Shape dough into squares.
- Brush with butter and sprinkle generously with cinnamon-sugar mixture. Place apple and hazelnuts into the center of each square.
- Fold corners to center and seal tightly. Place rolls on cookie sheets and allow to rise until doubled in bulk.
- Bake at 350 degrees until golden brown. Remove from oven and baste with more melted butter. Remove to a wire rack to cool.
- When cool, drizzle with powdered sugar glaze and sprinkle with sliced almonds.
