Strawberry Sorbet

Course: Frozen Desserts

Ingredients

  • Water
  • Sugar
  • Strawberry Puree
  • Lemon Juice Optional

Instructions

  • Make a simple syrup of 1 part water to 1/2 part sugar. Bring to a boil and remove from heat. Combine 1 pint of this simple syrup with 2/3 pint strawberry puree. If too sweet, add lemon juice.
  • Freeze in an ice cream freezer and serve. Makes 2 pints.
