Grandma Stacker’s Kisses

Course: Cookies

Ingredients

  • 1/2 Cup Lard (Or Shortening)
  • 1 Cup Brown Sugar
  • 1/2 Cup Sour Milk
  • 1 Teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 2 Cups Flour Rounded
  • 1 Teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 1/2 Pound Coconut
  • Salt
  • Vanilla

Instructions

  • Cream shortening and sugar. Add vanilla.
  • Add sifted dry ingredients alternately with sour milk. Mix in coconut and place by rounded spoonfuls on cookie sheet.
  • Bake at 350 degrees until done.
