Chicken Kamaʻāina
Ingredients
- 4 2 1/2-Pound Chickens Cut Up
- 1/3 to 1/2 Cup Soy Sauce
- 1/2 Cup Catsup
- 1/4 Cup Salad Oil
- 1/4 Cup Lemon Juice
- 1/2 Cup Pineapple Juice
- 1 Clove Garlic Crushed
- 1/2 Teaspoon Dry Ginger or 1-Inch Ginger Root
- 1/2 Teaspoon Salt
- Fresh Ground Pepper
Instructions
- Brush chicken all over with soy sauce and let stand at least 30 minutes.
- Mix catsup with remaining ingredients. Brush catsup sauce on chickens and broil slowly. Turn and baste frequently until well browned and tender, about 1 hour.
