Charred Onions

  • Onions
  • Olive Oil
  • Salt
  • Pepper


  • Line a baking sheet with foil. Cut onions into 1/4- to 1/3-inch slices (do not separate yet.) Place place slices on the baking sheet, brush with olive oil and season to taste with salt and pepper.
  • Broil under high heat until onions are charred to your liking. Remove from broiler and separate slices into rings.
  • Great on top of sandwiches or burgers.
