Banana Chocolate Chip Muffins

Banana Chocolate Chip Muffins

Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 Cup Flour
  • 2 Teaspoons Baking Powder
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 Cup Butter or Margarine
  • 1 Cup Brown Sugar Packed
  • 2 Eggs
  • 2 Bananas Extra-Ripe, Mashed
  • 1 Teaspoon Vanilla
  • 1 Cup Chocolate Chips
  • 1/2 Cup Walnuts Chopped

Instructions

  • In a medium bowl, combine flour, baking powder, cinnamon and salt; set aside.
  • In a separate bowl, cream butter and sugar, then beat in eggs one at a time. Mix in banana and vanilla.
  • Add dry ingredients; stirring until just blended. Mix in chocolate chips and walnuts with a wooden spoon.
  • Spoon into well-greased or paper-lined muffin cups. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes.
  • Makes about 18 muffins.
