Applesauce Puffs
Ingredients
- 2 Cups Packaged Biscuit Mix (Bisquick)
- 1/4 Cup Sugar
- 1 Teaspoon Cinnamon
- 1/2 Cup Applesauce
- 1/4 Cup Milk
- 1 Egg Slightly Beaten
- 2 Tablespoons Cooking Oil
- 1/4 Cup Sugar
- 1/4 Teaspoon Cinnamon
- 2 Tablespoons Butter or Margarine Melted
Instructions
- Combine biscuit mix, sugar and cinnamon. Add applesauce, milk, egg, and cooking oil. Beat vigorously for 30 seconds. If dough is too stiff, add a little more milk.
- Fill greased 2-inch muffin pans 2/3 full. Bake in hot oven (400 degrees) for 12 minutes or until golden. Cool slightly; remove from pans.
- Mix cinnamon and sugar. Dip tops of muffins in melted butter and then in cinnamon-sugar mixture. Makes 12 muffins.
