- 2 Tablespoons Cooking Oil or Bacon Drippings
- 4 Cups Shredded Red Cabbage
- 1/2 Unpared Apple Diced
- 1/2 Cup Brown Sugar
- 1/4 Cup Vinegar
- 1/4 Cup Water
- 1/2 Teaspoon Salt
- Pepper To Taste
- 1/2 Teaspoon Caraway
- In large pan, heat oil, add all ingredients.
- Cover and cook over low heat 25 to 30 minutes.
