Raspberry Filled Squares

Course: Cookies

Ingredients

  • 1 1/3 Cup Flour
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Salt
  • 1 Cup Brown Sugar
  • 1/2 Cup Quick Oatmeal
  • 1 Cup Walnuts Coarsely Chopped
  • 1 Cup Butter Melted
  • 1/4 Cup Raisins Chopped
  • 1/2 Cup Raspberry Jam

Instructions

  • Sift flour, baking soda and salt together. Add brown sugar, oatmeal and walnuts. Add melted butter, blend. Press half of the mixture into greased 7.5×11.5-inch pan.
  • Cover with mixture of raisins and jam. Top with remaining flour mixture.
  • Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes. When cooled, cut into squares. Makes about 30 squares.
