Pumpkin Bread

Ingredients

  • 3 1/2 Cups Flour
  • 1 1/2 Teaspoon Salt
  • 2 Teaspoons Baking Soda
  • 3 Cups Sugar
  • 1 Teaspoon Nutmeg
  • 1 Teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1 Cup Vegetable Oil
  • 4 Eggs Beaten
  • 2/3 Cup Water
  • 2 Cups Pumpkin

Instructions

  • Sift together flour, salt, baking soda, sugar, nutmeg, and cinnamon. Then add oil, eggs, water and pumpkin. Mix until just moistened.
  • Pour into 3 greased and floured 3-inch deep loaf pans. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour.
  • When cool, wrap in foil and store in refrigerator. Serve warm or cold with butter, sprinkled with chopped nuts, or whipped cream.
