Pecan Tarts

  • 1/2 Cup Margarine
  • 1/ Cup Sugar
  • 2 Egg Yolks
  • 1 Teaspoon Almond Extract
  • 2 Cups Flour
  • 1/2 Cup Margarine
  • 1/3 Cup Dark Corn Syrup
  • 1 Cup Confectioner’s Sugar
  • 1 Cup Pecans Chopped
  • Pecan Halves


  • Mix 1/2 cup margarine and sugar. Stir in egg yolks, almond extract and flour. Press evenly into tiny tart tins or muffin cups. Bake in 400 degree oven for 8-10 minutes.
  • Bring to boil 1/2 cup margarine, corn syrup and confectioner's sugar. Stir in chopped pecans; spoon into baked shells. Top with pecan halves.
  • Bake in 350 degree oven for 5 minutes. Makes 4 dozen.
