Lemon Angel Food Cake
Ingredients
- 1 16-Ounce Package Duncan Hines Angel Food Cake Mix
- 1 Teaspoon Lemon Peel Grated
- 1 Cup Plus 3 Tablespoons Water
- 2 Tablespoons Lemon Juice
- Few Drops Yellow Food Coloring
Instructions
- Mix Angel Food Cake as directed on package except use combined water, lemon juice and yellow food coloring instead of 1 1/3 cup water.
- Add grated lemon peel along with the cake flour packet. Bake and cool according to package directions. For a stronger lemon flavor, add more peel. Makes 12 to 16 servings.
