Gingerbread

Course: Quick Breads

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 Cups Bread Flour
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 Cup Sugar
  • 1 Teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1 Teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Cloves
  • 1 Teaspoon Ginger
  • 1 Teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 1 Cup Water Boiling
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 Cup Molasses
  • 1/2 Cup Shortening Melted

Instructions

  • Mix dry ingredients. Combine liquids. Put two mixture together. Add shortening last. Bake at 350 degrees until done.
