Banana-Nut Muffins
Ingredients
- 1 Cup Sugar
- 1/3 Cup Shortening
- 2 Eggs
- 1 Cup Banana Mashed
- 1 Teaspoon Vanilla
- 2 Cups Flour
- 1 Teaspoon Baking Soda
- 1/4 Teaspoon Salt
- 1/2 Cup Walnuts Chopped
- 1/2 Cup Chocolate Chips Optional
Instructions
- Cream sugar with shortening; beat in eggs. Add banana and vanilla. Mix well, then add dry ingredients and nuts, stirring just until blended. Add some chocolate chips if desired.
- Bake in paper lined muffin cups at 350 degrees for about 20 minutes. Makes 16 muffins.
