“I’m not sure whether to call this a cookie, a pie, or a cobbler, but it is certainly satisfying. For those that like, you may want to add a bit of cinnamon and nutmeg to the apples. A couple of suggestions so that these come out more cookie-like than cobbler-like: use about 2/3 of the crumble for the crust to give it more stability, and let the apples sit with the sugar for awhile and drain the juice from them before putting on top of the crust (you may need to add back some of the sugar as well), this will make the end product less soggy and easier to pick up with your hands.” – April Ferre
