- 4 Cups (6 to 8) Apples
- 1/2 Cup Water
- 1 Teaspoon Cinnamon
- 1 Cup Sugar
- 3/4 Cup Bread Flour
- 1 Teaspoon Salt
- 7 Tablespoons Butter
- Pare, core and slice apples. Place apples in a 8×8-inch pan. Mix water and cinnamon; pour over apples.
- Work sugar, flour, salt and butter together until crumbly. Spread over apples. Bake uncovered.
