Pecan Tarts
Ingredients
- 1/2 Cup Margarine
- 1/ Cup Sugar
- 2 Egg Yolks
- 1 Teaspoon Almond Extract
- 2 Cups Flour
- 1/2 Cup Margarine
- 1/3 Cup Dark Corn Syrup
- 1 Cup Confectioner’s Sugar
- 1 Cup Pecans Chopped
- Pecan Halves
Instructions
- Mix 1/2 cup margarine and sugar. Stir in egg yolks, almond extract and flour. Press evenly into tiny tart tins or muffin cups. Bake in 400 degree oven for 8 to 10 minutes.
- Bring to boil 1/2 cup margarine, corn syrup and confectioner's sugar. Stir in chopped pecans; spoon into baked shells. Top with pecan halves.
- Bake in 350 degree oven for 5 minutes. Makes 4 dozen.
