Pineapple Feather Cake

Ingredients

  • 1/2 Cup Butter
  • 1 1/2 Cup Sugar
  • 1 Teaspoon Vanilla
  • 1/4 Cup Water
  • 3 Egg Whites Stiffly Beaten
  • 2 1/2 Cups Flour
  • 3 Teaspoons Baking Powder
  • 1/8 Teaspoon Salt
  • 1 Cup Crushed Pineapple & Juice

Instructions

  • Sift flour and measure. Sift flour, salt and baking powder three times.
  • Cream butter and sugar; add vanilla. Add flour mixture alternately with pineapple and water. Fold in egg whites.
  • Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes in loaf pan.
