“I’ve found that people find it impressive when you make your own salad dressing. I went with my labmate, Donna, and her husband, Doug, to an outdoor Shakespeare play (A Comedy of Errors) in Sacramento one summer. We brought a picnic dinner, and I made a salad and this dressing. Donna raved about this at work the next week. The great thing is, this is so simple and you probably have all these ingredients on hand. The page in my Grandma’s cookbook with the original recipe on it is very stained from lots and lots of use.” – April Ferre
“This is the best French dressing I’ve ever had. If you don’t think you like French dressing, give this one a try.” – Calla Ferre
