Pow-Wow Sandwiches
Ingredients
- 1/2 Pound Sliced Bacon
- 2 1/2 Ounces Shredded Dried (Chipped) Beef
- 3/4 Cup Catsup
- 1/3 Cup Sweet Pickle Relish
- 6 Hamburger Buns
- 6 Slices Cheese
Instructions
- Fry bacon crisp. Drain. Add dried beef, catsup, and pickle relish. Spread on one half of buns. Top each with a slice of cheese. Place top on buns and wrap sandwiches in foil. Heat in slow oven (325 degrees) for 25 minutes. Makes 6 sandwiches.
- Alternate Proportions (Makes 8 Sandwiches): 4 Ounces (2 Packages) Chipped Beef, 1/2 Pound Bacon, 3/4 Cup Catsup, 1/3 Cup Sweet Pickle Relish, Shredded Cheddar Cheese, 8 Hamburger Buns.
