Pumpkin Bread
Ingredients
- 3 1/2 Cups Flour
- 1 1/2 Teaspoon Salt
- 2 Teaspoons Baking Soda
- 3 Cups Sugar
- 1 Teaspoon Nutmeg
- 1 Teaspoon Cinnamon
- 1 Cup Vegetable Oil
- 4 Eggs Beaten
- 2/3 Cup Water
- 2 Cups Pumpkin
Instructions
- Sift together flour, salt, baking soda, sugar, nutmeg, and cinnamon. Then add oil, eggs, water and pumpkin. Mix until just moistened.
- Pour into 3 greased and floured 3-inch deep loaf pans. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour.
- When cool, wrap in foil and store in refrigerator. Serve warm or cold with butter, sprinkled with chopped nuts, or whipped cream.
