Spareribs with Very Special Barbecue Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1/4 Cup Onion Chopped
  • 1/2 Cup Water
  • 2 Tablespoons Vinegar
  • 1 Tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
  • Juice From 1 Lemon
  • 2 Tablespoons Brown Sugar
  • 1 Cup Chili Sauce
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Paprika
  • Spareribs

Instructions

  • Brown onions. Add remaining ingredients and simmer for 20 minutes.
  • When baking spare ribs, first cover with foil and bake in hot oven (500 degrees) for 15 minutes. Then reduce to 350 degrees, add sauce and bake an hour longer.
