Molasses Barbecued Ribs

Ingredients

  • 3 Pounds Spareribs Cut Into Serving Pieces
  • 1/4 Cup Prepared Mustard
  • 1/4 Cup Molasses
  • 1/4 Cup Soy Sauce
  • 3 Tablespoons Vinegar
  • 2 Tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce
  • 2 Teaspoons Tabasco Sauce

Instructions

  • Place ribs in shallow baking pan. Combine ingredients and pour over ribs. Chill for 3 or more hours.
  • Spoon sauce over ribs. Bake in a moderate oven (350 degrees) about 1 1/2 hours or until tender and well done, basting occasionally. Turn once during baking. Garnish with lemon wedges. Makes 3 to 4 servings.
  • Revised Recipe: Use 1 Tablespoon Vinegar, 1 Tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce, and 1 Teaspoon Tabasco Sauce.
