Additions for Enhanced Version:

Onion
Chopped
1/2 to 1
Jalapeno Pepper
Finely Diced

Cup
Cilantro
Chopped

Lime Juice
Instructions
Add all ingredients to saucepan and simmer for 20 to 25 minutes. Serve hot.
Recipe may be multiplied as needed.
Enhanced Version:
If you want to put in a little more effort, first sauté onion and Jalapeno pepper in saucepan until soft. Then add spices and sauté until fragrant.
Add black beans and simmer. Finish with cilantro and lime juice.
